Something Different.
After more than 15 years working inside organizations — building HR departments from the ground up, leading talent acquisition, and serving as a strategic partner to leadership teams — I kept seeing the same problem: recruiting had become transactional.
Resumes were being processed, not people. Roles were being filled, not truly matched. And businesses were paying the price in turnover, mis-hires, and teams that never quite clicked.
I started Barrette Workforce Solutions because I wanted to do things differently — more human, less transactional. I wanted the freedom to build real relationships with clients and candidates alike, and to do recruiting the way it should be done: with intention, accountability, and genuine care for the outcome.
I've spent my career across some of the most demanding environments — manufacturing floors, logistics operations, construction job sites, healthcare facilities, corporate offices, and executive boardrooms. Whether the role is a skilled trades worker, an administrative professional, a healthcare specialist, or a C-suite leader, finding and keeping the right people isn't just a business goal — it's a matter of safety, efficiency, and culture. That experience shapes everything I do.
"The best hires don't come from algorithms alone — they come from understanding people."
